About the founder
 In 2007, Rev. Renee L. Bradford, M.Div. founded First Purse, Inc. The concept of giving every girl
their "first purse" arose from teaching her daughter the principles of saving, investing, and giving
back. First Purse, Inc. endeavors to strengthen girls ages 8 to 10 through character building, financial literacy,
and civic engagement. As a marathon runner, motivational speaker and Philanthropist, she aspires to uplift all
in the expression of their faith and fulfillment of their God-given purpose.
Rev. Bradford is a native of Dayton, Ohio. She has holds
a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration/MIS from Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio and
a Master of Divinity degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. She resides in Charlotte, NC where
she serves as the Administrator for Mount Carmel Baptist Church. She is married to her college sweetheart, Lovell
A. Bradford and a proud Mother of three - FaJhenee, Lovell, Jr., and Seth.
